Nameless Axle Back | Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness Install & Sound Check
Here is a quick video of me installing Nameless Performance Muffler Delete axle back exhaust on a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness with the 2.5L N/A boxer. It was a pretty simple procedure! There were no issues with it clearing my OEM hitch setup. Comment if you have any questions, and thanks for watching!

i can yank super hard using 3 fingers on mt200. will i be able to do the same on xt one? its lever seems shorter.
The lever is shorter but the linkage driving the master cylinder has a different ratio - Less effort with more fluid being moved.
Great Video! Just finished doing this hack with 6100 Levers and it was super smooth (First time!)
Great job! Hope you love it!
What is the name of that lube
I use Muc Off Dry Lube.
Was it easy to fit water bottle in that space?
Yes no issues
I live 15 mins away from this state park. I had no idea this was out there
Go check it out!
Are the bearing Not sealed????
They are!
Ergon evo
what they dont tell you is if your over 110kg its hard to get right if you even can
Interesting! Didn’t know that.
How do you cleaned your chane on your V
What’s that?
Putting an exhaust on a CVT car is so dumb
You’ll survive.
What's the bike's name ?
Superior EXF 9039B
Jared, take a tour for the Suntour Factory, in Taiwan.
That would be sick!
The reason for the SunRace cassette is they moved back to the older(cheaper) hg freehub. Which means you can't run a newer microspline cassette, which means no 10tooth. You have to swap the freehub body if they even make one that will fit(haven't been able to find one yet) or swap the hub or rear wheel. I just picked one up yesterday.
Yes that’s true, but a pretty minor gripe. If you want a super premium 12s cassette for HG you can always buy a Garbaruk.
Is this on all colour ways, as when I look at the other colours they seem the have an slx cassette. Also the bike is advertised as slx drivetrain so does it have slx cranks.
@@rccars2472 my bike has mt510-1 cranks. Only slx components are shifter and ream mech(the most important parts. Other than the cassette)
@@adamsturrock4649 what colour did you get
@@rccars2472 black/grey. I'd have gotten the purple one if it was available in store (MEC in Canada)
Really SR SUNTOUR makes low end stuff for affordable bikes and higher end stuff. This video kinda captain obvious
And yet, you’re still here watching. 🤷♂️
How to orther
I had gotten them on chain reaction who closed sadly.
Funny you should say that I went out on my ebike for first time the other night found my right heal to always be clipping under the bend in the crank arm I just couldn't get my foot to sit straight with my new sam hill Nukeproof Horizon pedals! Definitely gonna wear thro my paint in no time wonder if thee would help?
They probably would! But at the very least, just put some frame wrap on those sections - I do the same thing pretty often.
I couldn't afford peddles
😢
You sound like an AI
I guess that means my presenter voice has gotten pretty decent over the years lmao.
Yall are paying 2100 for bikes?? Whaaat come on lol
That’s on the low end for this hobby. I have friends who pay 5 digits for bikes.
I haven’t watched your videos in a while and wow your riding has come a long way! Congrats
Thank you so much! Yeah 2 years of living out here and riding a lot changes your DNA. Me 3 years ago wouldn’t believe what I’m doing today.
Instead of pulling on the breaker bar, push on it. Much easier.
I’m concurrently pushing on the crank arm. Pushing is easier than pulling and that’s why I choose to push on the shorter of the 2 levers. Creates equal pressure.
Yes, would run them. Price?
They’re right at $200 USD.
Can the mt 200 be upgraded to 4 piston shimano ? And what are the parts i heard that organic pads in the back stop better than semi met or ceramic
If you want to increase piston count, I’d probably just do a whole new set of brakes at that point. Personally I find that metallic pads all around stop the best, but they can be noisy and wear out rotors faster.
@@JaredRMorgan i was looking at lever and caliper upgrades from mt200
Do you think the sound would be obnoxious for neighbors? I’m mostly just concerned about starting my car in the mornings and disturbing others. I personally love a loud exhaust, would you consider this loud or pretty tame?
The cold start is definitely loud. It’s something to consider. I live in the country and there’s a lot of space between houses. Plus my neighbors don’t care. Once the car is running, it’s audible at all times but not ridiculous. It’s only pretty dang loud on that cold start.
Yes I would
Being that I have deteriorated cartilage in my knees, absolutely I would try them!
It definitely helps when your knees need some relief I can confirm.
They definitely are not crappy for the price you pay for them. Otherwise, useful video, thanks.
No I agree with you there - this video is older when I would resort to bolder language to make the title more compelling. Not necessarily my style today, but I still believe these levers are a great upgrade. Cheers!
That cool asf ? Price ?
They’re right around 200 USD at the moment.
Ouch.😮@@JaredRMorgan
Bah the mt-200 are not Bad for the price
I can agree with that!
This is just an advert...
Why is it that we aren’t allowed to talk about small companies’ new products without these silly accusations? I didn’t get paid a dime - so it’s not an advertisement.
What do they weigh? I’m not a weight weiny - obviously, but I’m curious how much they add.
I’ll have to pull one off the bike and get a weight soon. I.O.U.
What kind of grease do you use??
I use park tool poly lube. One tube lasts a good while.
I just ordered an Eliminator T9 for the feont of my Alpine Trail 7. How do you like that tire on the front?
It was great! I used them often for both front and rear.
Now THAT is a nice looking bike!
Ayyyyyy 😉
Got the same one, fits perfect and looks great
Yep still my favorite helmet!
I got a leatt all mtn 4.0
I had been wanting to try some of their helmet offerings.
I’d try then too. When I switched from clipless to flats the lack of float was the only thing that I didn’t like.
Yep! Right there with you. I rode clipless for almost 3 years. Back on flats and 0 float kind of sucks!
No, I run clip, then I always know where my feet are😘
Clipless is great for that! I ran them for many years.
Not for me, unless you can barely or not at all feel the float. Nothing worse than a floaty-feeling pedal
It’s only 8 degrees and they’re under serious tension with special springs. I don’t think it’ll feel off putting or rickety in any way.
I’d definitely try them
Right on! 🫡
so.. do you feel more brake power now? or it is just better modulation...?
You get more power out of it as the leverage ratio pushes the fluid with more force. Some folks will urge you that it won’t work bc the hose is not rated for it, but we ran setups like this for years at this house with 0 issues. Your call!
@@JaredRMorgan ok great thanks.. im looking for a xt501 levers.. for my MT200 sets.. could be fine with it? Thanks!!
Do you find 140mm in the front is enough? Does the shock and fork meet your standards? Do you like the drivetrain? I’m wondering if I should get one. Thanks! 😊
Plenty enough! I ride Siskiu T bikes MOST of the time. Lol. For the T7 in particular, the shock meets my standard. The fork I would probably upgrade eventually. The drivetrain is solid, and I have no complaints there. Hope this helps!
@@JaredRMorgan it does thank you! One last question, how are the breaks with 2pistons in the back and 4 up front? Is there enough stopping power? Re the levers too big? Thanks
Is this a sponsored post? sure seems like it
They sent me the pedals to try so I made a short video. Sponsored would mean I’m getting a check, so nah it’s not that. I just know how to make content - do it for a living.
These are just Ads for crap made in China products.
8 degrees of float sounds like a great way to fatigue aluminium...
It won’t. It operates on steel axles with burly steel springs.
Bro just get normal flats and turn down the pins. Kinda of a waste. Or get clips with lots of float 💀
Bro the pedals were given to me to try. I’m more than positive you wouldn’t turn them down…not to mention I bet they’re going to be sick. Most of the riders I know who have tried them (some ex pros) have raved about them.
Yea
Ayyyy let’s go! 🙏
Nah. Not for me. My flats bearing just went out while I was in Pisgah. Got a new set asap due to the wobble (and fear of having to pedal out on a spindle, I can’t lie on that one haha)
The design is much more burly than it appears. I have no doubts it will perform as intended.
Semms like something id try
Heck yeah. I think it’s worth a shot for sure. 💪
hi dude! could you tell me where did u buy that tyres? i love it! htnaks!
If you’re referencing the blue splatter, those are by a brand called Versus Tires!
@@JaredRMorgan yep! ok thanks!
